On February 16, 2021, the deputy director for educational work of the KGKP “Higher College of Geodesy and Cartography” M. K. Omarova and the teacher-psychologist B. Zh. Asetova held a seminar for parents of 1st-year students on the topic “Family-the source of morality and spirituality”.

Spiritual and moral education involves the creation of conditions for the development of self-consciousness, the formation of an ethical position of the individual, its moral qualities and guidelines that are consistent with the norms and traditions of society. Spiritual and moral education of students, the path to the future – an urgent issue today. The main task is to form good habits and behaviors in a young person. As a result of the awakening of the inner world through the influence on the feelings of the child, his spiritual and moral qualities are formed.

During the seminar, it was noted that the education of the generation should be considered as a matter of educating the future heirs of society. Emphasizing that “The motherland begins with the family” for parents and teachers, the common issue is the upbringing of the younger generation and directing it to the optimal service of the interests of society. Parents and teachers need to be involved in this issue together.
