Online meeting for parents of college students

On June 17, 2020, the administration of the Higher College of Geodesy and Cartography organized a general online parent meeting to inform parents about the organization of educational work during distance learning and during vacation time, and also addressed issues related to the proper organization of summer vacations, recreation and employment of minors and prevention of auto-aggressive manifestations among students.

The meeting was attended by the chief specialist of the technical and vocational education department of the Education Department of East Kazakhstan Oblast, Ilyasova G. B. Gulmira Beisenbaevna in her speech informed parents about the situation in the region since the beginning of summer, about crime prevention, and the proper organization of recreation for teenagers. Deputy Director for SD Usmanova S. S. introduced parents to the features of the final certification. Deputy Director for UPR Shevchenko O.A. spoke about the organization of professional practices – training and production.

Speaking to students’ parents, Deputy Director for BP Omarova M.K. dwelled in detail on the forms of organizing summer vacations, talked about the need for interaction between the parent community and the teaching staff of the college, and also made specific recommendations to parents in order to protect students from distance learning and long summer vacations from various rash actions due to age and inability to organize their leisure.
