The transition to training with application of remote educational technologies

Distance education is distance learning. In fact, this is full-time online training. In distance learning, students learn all 100% of the volume of information. The whole process is based on communication via the Internet. A person studies independently, attends classes (online or offline), and passes all tests, tests, sections, and written papers strictly in accordance with the academic calendar of the educational institution.

Starting from March 16, 2020, according to the Order “on strengthening measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in educational institutions during the pandemic”, the higher College of geodesy and cartography will switch to distance learning mode.

The following Internet Communication services will be used to organize the educational process:

1. E – mail service-E-mail with the ability to store educational material in the cloud on the mail server mail.ru;

2. Teleconferencing service;

Teleconferences combine both communication and information functions. On the one hand, there is personal communication, with the arc — the conference materials contain a large amount of useful information.

3. Forums for direct communication-IRC (Internet Relay Chat);

Communication between participants takes place on-line in writing. Similar to teleconferences, participants of a chat conference are divided into thematic groups.

At the moment, the cloud storage is being filled with educational information, creating groups and accounts in social networks and messengers, which will be used for conducting training sessions in on – and of – Line modes from March 16.
