MATERIAL-TECHNICAL BASE OF THE COLLEGE
The educational complex of the College consists of two buildings: one educational four-storey typical building built in 1975, the second educational and household building with a five-storey dormitory, built in 1966.
In the buildings there are 10 classrooms, 12 laboratories, workshop for repair of surveying instruments, library, dining room, canteen, medical office, sports and Assembly halls, etc.
On the territory of the College there is a sports ground equipped with sports equipment. The total area on the balance sheet of the College is-7902,7 sq. m., including: the first academic building with auxiliary buildings-4304,4 sq. m., the second educational household building with a hostel-3435,6 sq. m. and garages-162,7 sq. m..
The College operates educational-methodical Association (UMO) in the field of geodesic profile.
Computer classes-5, in which 50 computers are installed. In total, the College has 93 computers, 80 of which are used in the educational process. 60 personal computers, i.e. 75% of the College’s computer Park, have access to the global network.
The College has a medical office. In 2015, the College returned to the hostel building, which operates a dining room for 50 seats.
Classrooms and laboratories are equipped with geodetic and photogrammetric devices. Currently, work is underway to equip laboratories with modern technical facilities. In classrooms and laboratories during laboratory-practical works the number of devices allows to train individually and by a brigade method.
Practical training is conducted on a 3-geodesic polygons, provided aerial photography, and cartographic materials. One polygon is located in the city limits, two polygons are located in the suburban area. The availability of these landfills ensures the implementation of the program of educational practices in full.
Educational laboratory
The College has 12 laboratories and 10 classrooms.
Laboratories: Geodesy, higher geodesy, Applied geodesy, engineering-geodetic surveys, electronic-geodetic measuring instruments, Digital photogrammetry, Photogrammetry, Geographic information systems and technologies, mapping And editing, Digital mapping, Informatics, Stereophotogrammetry.
Classrooms of special disciplines: Topographic and map drawing, Physical geography and geomorphology, Cartography, Organization and production control, labor Protection and life safety fundamentals, Foreign language, Kazakh (Russian) language, Social subjects, Physical education, Methodical study.
In all offices of special disciplines there are thematic information stands, additional educational literature, visual AIDS, tasks for practical training and independent work of students.
For laboratory, practical training and educational practices the College is equipped with the necessary devices and equipment.

The upgrade and re-equipment of workshops
Applications for the development of the material base of the College annually submitted to the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2012, the College was allocated 10 million tenge for the modernization of equipment. New generation devices were purchased:
- Total stations “Spectra Precision Focus 6.5” – 5 sets.,
- Digital theodolite “CST / Berger DGT10” – 1 set.,
- Sets of accessories to total stations:
- CST milestone (2.5 m, Quik-Lok, TMA) -5 comp.,
- Set of single-frequency GPS system “EPOCH-10»,
- Receiver “TRIMBLE R3” -1 set.,
- Stereo monitor “Lcreflex-2002”- 5 PCs.,
- Software package “CREDO” kit-10 workplaces.
In process of receipt of modern technical means actions for their development and introduction in educational process are carried out.
In 2014, 25 million tenge was allocated from the national budget for the modernization of equipment.
New generation devices were purchased:
- unmanned aircraft of aircraft type (1 set);
- stereo Monitors ” LcReflelex-2002 “(5 PCs.);
- system units” Biz Com ” (5 PCs.),
- levels Trimble Dini (5 PCs.),
- plotter format A0+ Epson Stytus Pro 9890.
Geodetic justification, created by our own forces on suburban geodetic ranges, allows us to conduct educational practice for all types of topographic and geodetic works, provided by the program of professional practice. This year, the work on the staffing of new offices and laboratories corresponding to SES continues, the existing laboratories of special disciplines, classrooms and the entire academic building continues to be re-equipped.
